SAN DIEGO DEPUTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S ASSOCIATION BACKS OLGA DIAZ FOR SUPERVISOR

Escondido, CA – Today the San Diego Deputy District Attorney’s Association (DDAA) and its associated Political Action Committee, San Diegans Against Crime (SDAC), announced that they are supporting Escondido City Councilmember Olga Diaz’s campaign for San Diego County Supervisor.

In announcing their endorsement, Bryn Kirvin, the President of DDAA, released the following statement:
“Olga Diaz is committed to keeping San Diego County neighborhoods safe, and she will be a responsive and effective advocate for everyone she serves. Olga has the courage needed to make tough decisions and the ability to get things done. Olga Diaz is the right choice for Supervisor, and we are proud to stand behind her.”

SDAC President Jim Koerber released the following statement:
“Our number one concern is keeping San Diego County residents safe, and we trust Olga Diaz to do exactly that on the Board of Supervisors. Olga has a track record of putting the needs and interests of her constituents first, and working to advance the cause of justice. Olga is the leader we need in San Diego County.”

The DDAA and San Diegans Against Crime join a growing list of organizations to announce their support for Olga Diaz, including the San Diego County Probation Officers Association, IBEW 569, Ironworkers Local 229, the Escondido Firefighters Union, and community leaders like County Supervisor Nathan Fletcher, Assemblywomen Lorena Gonzalez and Tasha Boerner Horvath, and more than 30 elected leaders throughout the County.
